Sure the UConnect system displays various pressures, temps, and speeds on the center screen… but let’s be honest, you use the screen for navigation and music, not monitoring your engine. Displaying gauges on the center stack is just not practical. The iDash is always on—displaying the data that’s most important to you. For 2.0L turbo owners, it may be boost pressure. For 3.6L Pentastar owners, it may be transmission temp, and for Hemi 392 owners it may be intake air temp, coolant, and oil temps since there’s so much engine crammed into so little space.
