Dyno Cell Update – Cooling Tower Installation

This week saw the installation of the new dyno cell water cooling system. Assembled across the street from the engineering and test facility in the parking lot of Banks manufacturing plant, the huge Evapco evaporative cooling tower was lifted via crane onto a truck. After transporting it about a thousand feet to the race shop, it was lifted off the truck and laid down where it’s now permanently welded to its footings. 

The small green cylindrical unit in the photo is our existing cooling unit. It’ll be removed as soon as the new system is plumbed and operational. You might say it’s more than a minor upgrade.
