Banks Built | Mounting $25,000 Wheels is Sketchy

In this Banks Built bonus feature, Betim from BBI Autosport mounts a set of Nitto Invo tires to our custom Sparc Industries wheels. But these are no ordinary 22” wheels. Not only did Jonathan from Sparc Industries design the wheels from scratch, but these 8-lug masterpieces were cut from solid 500 lb billets. One wrong move and his tire mounting machine could take a chunk out of the wheels. Betim feels the pressure.

Jay sent the four 500lb billets to Tyler, TX, where they were then hollowed out and into 43lb rims. The Banks Built build partners highlighted in this video include Nitto Tires, BBI Autosport, and Sparc Industries.

Banks Built follows the race shop team as they create a one-of-a-kind supercharged Duramax L5P diesel-powered 1966 Chevy C-20 called Lokjaw. It’s a build, unlike anything that Banks has ever done. Watch the whole series now and follow us on YouTube for bonus episodes.
