00:00 you’ve got one of the new 73s in here Godzilla yeah yeah what are the plans for this thing I’ve got a bunch of plans for it actually so I’m interested in this engine how durable is it how far can you go because ultimately I want to do the pickup truck then I’m going to do
00:15 a tune to pickup truck version like we’re developing this engine from scratch that’s how I instrument instrumentation at OEM level we’re measuring EGT in each of the ports so we can look at injector balance an airflow balance in each cylinder because what you want when you’re done is eight
00:35 one-cylinder engines running on a common crankshaft that all make the same power when we say something about durability or capability we know exactly what we’re talking about also when we’re building speed equipment for an engine we are looking at how does that impact the rest
00:52 of the system is it positive or is it negative ultimately I’m turboing this thing oh sweet
Chris from KC Adventures took to his new YouTube channel to show the installation of his first performance mod for his brand spanking new 2024 Ford F-450. The truck is a beast that’ll haul the trailer that’ll take him on adventures. He wants to get the most out of his truck by helping it breathe better. Enter the Banks 5″ Monster Exhaust. “Basically, you get rid of 38% of the backpressure,” explains Chris. “Everything I’ve seen and read says it’ll be a simple install. I want to show you guys a before and after.” After removing the stock exhaust, Chris lays it out next to the Banks system. “You can see the difference in the diameters. Definitely more airflow.”
“Chris from KC Adventures installs his first performance mod…” For another great first upgrade, check out how one truck owner improved throttle response with the PedalMonster on his 2021 Tacoma.

Oh, and the reports of the Monster Exhaust being simple to install were true, taking him only 20 minutes to install. The system liberates otherwise lost horsepower, and the patented SideKick tip looks considerably better than the unsightly stock pipe. It’s a win-win.
“The system liberates otherwise lost horsepower…” Combine this with an iDash SuperGauge to track temps, pressure, and gains in real time for the ultimate performance setup.
