HOT ROD magazine is 65 years old in 2013, and to celebrate, they are hosting a car show like none other: It’s a collection of 300 plus HOT ROD cover cars and feature cars from all across the country.

There will be autograph sessions with Courtney Hansen, Linda Vaughn, Roland Leong, Tommy Ivo, Gale Banks, and more on Saturday from 6:00-7:30 at the main stage. Don “the Snake” Prudhomme will be bringing the Tom “Mongoose” McEwen Hot Wheels hauler that he restored, complete with a Plymouth on the ramps. If you’ve never seen this truck in person, it’s well worth a visit.

Free admission to the NHRA Motorsports Museum for March 23 and 24 will be included with the purchase an event ticket. The Museum features a unique exhibit that includes many of the milestones from the career of Gale Banks, from his earliest hot rod creations to today’s record-setting diesel and gas powered vehicles. A definite must see while you’re at the show!
