PedalMonster Gives Trackhawk Wings
You’d think that having a supercharged 6.2L Hemi squeezed into the 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trackhawk would have an amazing throttle response. That’s what Alberto Galdamez thought. Even with the brutish powerplant putting out 707 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque, throttle delay was still evident. That’s where the PedalMonstercomes in. Paired with the iDash SuperGauge, the PedalMonster cured the blown SUV’s acceleration woes. “It completely removed the lag,” said Alberto excitedly. It’s totally responsive now! You could notice the difference right away.”
I typically run it in CITY level 4. I’ve run the other modes, but this is the sweet spot. Having the iDash SuperGauge is great because not only can I change the PedalMonster’s settings easily, but I can keep my eye on everything that I want, like coolant, trans temp, and intake temp. And I’m having fun learning about Manifold Air Density from Gale’s videos. All in all, the Banks stuff is just what my Jeep needed.”
