The Fastest Woman on Earth, Gale’s Film Rec

The Fastest Woman on Earth is now streaming on HBO Max. Jessi Combs was an amazing fabricator. She was a gifted driver, charming, and an inspiration to millions. We’re thrilled to recommend this new documentary about her quest to break the 512-mph women’s land speed record set in 1976.

“Jess was a master fabricator and boy did she have serious chops,” exclaimed Gale in his recommendation.

One of Jessi’s dreams was to share her love of all things mechanical with the world. She and her best friend and fellow fabricator Theresa Contreras created Real Deal Revolution. The non-profit organization’s mission is to motivate women and children in a way that breeds self-confidence, breaking stereotypes, healthy decisions, hands-on training, creative development, positive images, community involvement, and grabbing life by the balls.

Critics are speaking highly of the film. MotorTrend magazine calls the documentary, “The documentary is raw, emotional, unflinching, and a must-watch.” Car and Driver said, “This documentary proves Jessi Combs was not like most of us.”
