Better Breathing, More Power
Josh Buck’s 2022 Jeep Gladiator was made for playing rough, but where his playground is the truck just felt like it had asthma. “We do a lot of camping and rock crawling in the High Sierras. You know, very high altitude where the air is a lot thinner. My Gladiator felt listless, and I knew that the stock intake contributed to the issue. I could be in second gear, but the truck would still bog down. I had been wanting to upgrade to the Banks Ram-Air Intake for some time, and I’m so glad that I finally did! It is so much better up there now! The engine can finally breathe, and the power is on tap. I have no more problems with the thing bogging down.”
Josh’s Gladiator might be a conqueror at higher altitudes, but how does the truck perform around town? “Oh… my… goodness, I feel like it’s a V8! It’s putting a lot more power down to the ground than I would have ever expected. And would you believe it, with all that freed up breathing and extra power, the mileage went up, too.”
