Why Wireless iDash Pro Firmware Updates Matter
Unlike legacy gauges that require microSD cards or laptop cables, the iDash Pro updates wirelessly over Bluetooth. The Banks mobile app for iOS and Android pushes firmware upgrades directly to your dashboard in minutes. Each release unlocks proprietary OEM CAN-bus parameters that factory instrument clusters intentionally hide from the driver.
New updates expand vehicle-specific data across GM, RAM, Ford, Toyota, Nissan, Jeep, and Honda platforms. Drivers gain real-time access to engine oil pressure, transmission gear selection, and manifold air density readings. Diesel owners can also trigger stationary or mobile DPF regeneration cycles and monitor soot loads directly. Additionally, Min/Max logging records peak boost and temperature spikes while customizable alerts warn you before overheating occurs. Paired with a direct-fit A-pillar Stealth Pod mount, the 52mm gauge delivers OEM-level cockpit integration.
