3. First Start-up

If the iDash Pro is used as a stand-alone, you will need to select the vehicle type and/or engine displacement. However, if the iDash Pro is connected to a Derringer tuner, it will automatically identify the vehicle and reboot with the appropriate features. Access the main menu and navigate to settings to confirm their vehicle’s manufacturer, including options like General Motors, Ford, and Stellantis. A future firmware update will streamline this process. Users also input their engine’s displacement to complete the setup.
