Monster Exhaust gives a boost in mileage

Shannon Smith shared his thoughts with us about what a difference just putting a Monster Exhaust on his 2023 F-450 Power Stroke made. “Most people like an aftermarket exhaust system to be loud and crazy, but I like how it’s quiet. There’s no drone in the cab, and really there’s very little change in sound from stock. But here’s the thing: not only do I feel some extra power, but I’m getting about a mile extra per gallon towing my 38-foot fifth-wheel trailer. I bought the truck specifically for towing, and since we’ve installed the Monster Exhaust I’ve put on about 3,000 miles.”

“I’m looking forward to getting the Ram-Air Intake soon to partner up with the exhaust. This truck cost me a good chunk of change, and while I know that there are ways to do things that are not emissions-compliant that could get me more power… I need reliability from my investment. These Banks products don’t even cause a problem, which means that I will be getting more out of my truck and the Banks stuff. Not having any problems down the road and getting an extra dose of performance and economy is always good in my book.”
