1. Before starting the installation, use your 10mm socket to remove the negative terminal and disconnect the battery.

2. Pull off about three feet of the weather stripping from just below the dashboard to the top of the A-pillar.

The weather seal is held in with pressure, and will pop right out with your finger tips.

3. Pry the side dashboard cover open.

Beware: If you use a screwdriver, it could leave a mark on the soft plastic. A plastic pry tool and/or rag is recommended.

This will provide access to run your wires to and from the iDash.

4. Remove this threaded clip, down in the foot well.

Your fingers will be able to unthread it.

5. Remove this 10mm Bolt.

It will allow access to run your data cables up to the iDash later.

6. Pop the lower dashboard free.

You dont need to fully remove it, just pop it slightly free so you will be able to reach through and snake your data cable through.

7. Pop the SRS bolt cover free.

The SRS bolt is a bit tricky to remove using a screwdriver without causing a scratch. Using a pick is recommended.

8. Remove 10mm SRS bolt.

9. Remove A-Pillar from truck.

Twist the A-Pillar as you pull back to pop it free.

7. Bring the pillar to a workbench with a non-slip surface.

Test fit your stealth pod and mark the center of its cable access hole

8. Mark this spot where you will be drilling your cable access hole.

9. Install the step bit and mark the 16mm or 18mm step.

16mm is enough for a single cable; for two cables, such as when running an iDash with a PedalMonster, go to the 18mm step.

The Tundra stealth pod has a shroud that will cover the hole you make.

10. Drill the hole cable access hole to 16-18mm.

You may need to drill the hole from both sides to remove all the scraps of plastic.

12. Back at the truck, Check how long the end of the OBD-II cable should be. This will be the goal length once you run the small end up your A-Pillar and cable tie any excess.

Take your time, you should be able to fish the cable up through the dashboard.

Keep running it up until there is enough slack to make it through the access hole you drilled.

13. Drape the end of your Banks OBD-II Data cable over the dashboard for now.

15. Grab your stealth pod and its supplied hex bolt.

Run your data cable(s) through the back of the Stealth Pod.

Install the supplied Hex bolt with the included key.

16. Install your iDash

Plug in your 4 and/or 6 pin data cables.

Take up the extra slack as your slide the iDash into place. There should be just enough to pull the iDash back out if needed.

Eyeball the Banks Logo so that it is straight and level.

17. Tidy up any extra with the included zip ties.

Take care to leave just enough slack so that the bottom OBD-II cable can still reach the plug, without hanging low or getting in the way.

Clip any excess off the zip ties.

18. Snap the lower dash back into place.

Re-secure the lower kick panels 10mm bolt.

Dont forget the small finger threadable clip.

23. Check that the iDash powers up, is in the correct mode for your vehicle, and enjoy your new Banks Stealth Pod.
